Information Society Section

Information Society Section performs the tasks of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic in the following areas:
  • preparation of eGovernment development concepts;
  • guidelines for the preparation of development concepts for information systems in public administration;
  • publication of standards for information systems in public administration;
  • coordination on the level of security of information systems of public administration and management of the Internet;
  • monitoring and evaluation of the development of information systems in public administration;
  • coordination of the building of information systems in public administration at the national and international level;
  • administration of the Central Public Administration Portal;
  • management and implementation of the Operational Programme Information Society, in its capacity as an Intermediary Body under the Managing Authority.

    • Monitoring, Evaluation and Publicity Department 

Each department is responsible for a specific area of activity and related tasks.
